Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.
— William Morris

Hello!

I’m Christy Kill, an abstract painter finding purpose and meaning through creating artwork. For the past 16 years my family has traveled the world and through this experience, I found my passion. I could say it found me earlier than that when I began to experiment with oil paints while at UGA. The curiosity has yet to leave.

I move in and out of painting with oils and also acrylic and resin. Both mediums provide different outputs and I love exploring new techniques with each.

I sign each painting with my thumbprint which you can find in the bottom, right corner. This is a reminder to be true to myself in all aspects of life.

I work in the accounting industry serving a portfolio of interior designers in all things Studio Designer and managing books. I am a member of the McLean Art Society which provides many opportunities to present my work. I currently have work hanging in the McLean Art Gallery where new work is presented each month.

Take the walks,

pick up the phone,

go on a trip,

breathe fresh air,

do the things that make you the most happy.

Inside
my world

From the U.S. to Central America, Iceland, and back again, art became both anchor and guide through change, curiosity, and reinvention. Today, Christy’s paintings are intuitive and layered, inviting emotion and connection. For commissions, Christy works closely with the mood and energy of a client’s interior to create a one-of-a-kind piece that draws the eye and tells a story through her perspective.

Let’s connect!

I’d love to create a unique piece of art just for you. The process is easy and transparent. We start with an email or phone call to discuss your vision, I write back with a proposal and then once I have the green light, the magic happens!

Handmade candles.

Christy recently made a small batch of organic, soy wax candles. They are infused with cranberry and fig oils and are in a 12 oz. glass jar.
