Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.
— Thomas Merton

Hello!

I’m Christy Kill, an abstract painter. My work is rooted in color, movement, and memories. I paint using oil, acrylic, and resin, layering materials to create depth, softness, and quiet energy. I began painting in my early twenties, introduced to oil by my grandmother, and later found my voice through abstraction — a way of working that values feeling over perfection.

After living across four countries for sixteen years, landscapes like oceans, sunsets, and landforms became embedded in how I see and paint. Today, it is a way to release emotion and translate feelings into work that feels calm, expansive, and resonant.

My work is designed to bring a sense of ease and presence into a space — art that holds emotion quietly, invites reflection, and becomes part of your everyday environment.

Inside
my world

From the U.S. to Central America, Iceland, and back again, art became both anchor and guide through change, curiosity, and reinvention. Today, Christy’s paintings are intuitive and layered, inviting emotion and connection. For commissions, Christy works closely with the mood and energy of a client’s interior to create a one-of-a-kind piece that draws the eye and tells a story through her perspective.
